Still no end in sight (30th Jan 2009)

A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death as he travelled to hospital with his young daughter to visit his wife who had just given birth to a boy.

He became involved in an argument with a second man and died "in front of his daughter's eyes" in Croydon, south London, police said.

Sadly another one in early 2009

Two youths, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 15-year-old who was stabbed in the chest in east London.

The boy, named locally as Steven Lewis, was found by police on Whitwell Road, Plaistow, on Saturday night. A group of youths ran off as the officers arrived.

The injured boy was taken to hospital where he died soon afterwards.

The Met Police said the 15-year-old was the first teenager to have met a violent death in London in 2009.

A 16-year-old boy fatally stabbed outside a youth club on Merseyside has been identified by police.

Joseph Lappin was with friends outside Shrewsbury House Youth Club in Everton, Liverpool, on Monday night when they were confronted by up to 15 youths.

We are warned of many things that will happen in the last days before Jesus return, among them being:

2 timothy 3:1   But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come.
2   For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3   without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
4   traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

One of the biggest lies in the last few decades has been evolution, after all, taking God out of the picture, prayer and so on from our schools is a way of removing God from everything. The evolution lie of course says we came from nothing and are going back to nothing and so no worries, you came from apes you can act like apes, be selfish and live only for yourself, it's me, me, me.

In the Bible we can see at times just how precious life is, how Christ came to die on the cross just for us sinners. And nothing was a s painful as death on the cross.

Today we now have a young generation, a youth with no help, in fact not condoning it, but with no hope, no belief in a God, so no accountability, no fear of being judged if you die having not repenting and accepted Christs death in your place, then you are going to live just for you, survival of the fittest.

I've decided to do this as I love revealing truth, people will as the Bible, 100% accurate as usual predicts what will happen to those that do not know what the heck is going on in the last days:

Luke 21:25 There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves;
26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

People say we've always had those things, but get this:
Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
8 But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.
 
So it's clear then from verse 8 that Jesus was saying before I come back it will get worse.
Hey a woman can't stay pregnant forever right?

So hearing the latest awful stabbings today on the news in Bolton and the so called reaction and Governments now response:

Shock tactics for knife carriers

Young people who carry knives will be made to visit hospitals where stabbing victims are treated, in a bid to shock them into changing their behaviour.

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said seeing "gruesome" injuries would be a tougher deterrent than sending all knife carriers in England and Wales to jail.

A spate of stabbings was making people "nervous" about going out, she said.

The Tories said more knife carriers should go to prison and the Lib Dems called Ms Smith's plans "half-baked".

The home secretary's proposals for England and Wales will be outlined in more detail when the government publishes its youth crime plan on Tuesday.

Ms Smith unveiled the plans hours after a man in his 30s was stabbed to death at a pub in Bolton.

Another man is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds at Scotland's largest music festival, T in the Park, in Balado, Perth and Kinross.

And on Thursday, four men were stabbed to death in London and a fifth died after a knife attack in West Bromwich. 

Surely we are so missing the point and no matter what measures we undertake unless they involve God then it simply won't work.
But because this government, worse than any past seems more intent of puting God out of the picture, then we can only expect things to get worse.
Ask those that have come to learn the truth, the Alpha Course going around prisons, those that have come to Christ and leave prison and start a new life and then feel their calling is to go back into jails and reach ex-offenders and have great success.

We've not only lost touch with this young generation, but we have failed them, let them down. While the church, most of it sleep walks and while it argues over worthy causes as the Bible is clear Homosexuality is an abomination to God and you can't get much stronger than that, you can't help feeling if Jesus was here in the flesh today He's be more conerned, and out there on the streets trying to understand and reach this youth.

There is a classic Christian film 'The Cross and the Switchblade' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068428/ that really sums up all I've just said, and oh, OH HOW I pray that it could be shown, hey that's it, capture these guys sit them in front of this often violent Christian film and maybe, just maybe we might have a chance to rehabilitate.

It's truly tragic, what has always stopped me doing anything is thinking too much, I've always said the most dangerous of persons are those that do not think at all, especially when drunk, it's I hate you right now and I'm gonna stab you and to hell with any after conseqeunces.
There is no thinking, who is this person I'm about to stab and if I stab them will they die and if they die will it mean my lifes over as later I'll be caught or have to hand myself in and then face jail. What about the persons family, I wonder if this guy I'm about to stab has a wife and a lovely young baby girl, daughter, son.
What would it have been like if I'd lost my parents, or what about that lad I see every weekend from the ex, what if I got killed, what if it was him with the knife.
So it goes on and on, what about the parents, the relatives, and friends.
This applies to suicides as well, we get so me, myself and I and we don't sit and think all the afters through enough.

I'm all for getting tough and anyone over 14 years of age caught with a knife should get automatic 3 to 5 year jail term and anyone stabs anyone gets automatic 15 years if they are over 16 and if they kill the victim then 25 years minimum.
All very well you say, but I'm not talking throwing them in jail, with no hope, just the chance to do drugs and smoke and learn more bad things off heavier criminals, only to get out and no doubt reoffend.
NO, I'm talking bring in the Alpha course and if they won't attend, then add time on their sentences, or something similar.

Only God can genuinely change lives, and save them, so I implore you to explore this site and you'll see that, healing from all kinds of things, including Aids and HIV and so many other things.

Below I'm gonna let others talk now, provide links and so on.
But be warned, unless as a nation we return to God it will get much, much worse, we've seen nothing yet.
This is always the trouble, satan convinces us we don't wanna be robots, and we don't, so we walk away from God and do it our way only to ruin everything. This is athiest living for you, this is evolution for you, take away the Bible, who needs that to guide us and tell us how to live. Bit like buying a computer for the first time and the man of the family as usual, through pride, thinks I'm not gonna read the manual, wasting my time, look I'm sure this goes in here, nope, that's not working, darn.
The Bible is a manual for life, a love letter from God of how to do things right in the first place.

I'd love to have to islands one with do what you life on and one under God, and after few years ask both sets what it's like and I so, so, so, so guarantee you, those on the do what you like island will want to move the God one, sure you gotta do some worshiping of God, gotta spend time, having a relationship with Him, and others and so on, but image it, no risk of being raped, mugged, having anything stolen, no risk of being stabbed, oh to go out at night like it was day time, oh to beak down and have someone stop and help you out.  Because God loves us, actually doesn't want us to be robots He gives us freewill.
That's why so many get angry with God, IF THERE'S A GOD why did He let my so and so die.
We have freewill, God tried to intervene once before, 2000 years ago, what makes us think we'll be any more accepting to Him today, we crucified Him then.

Satan takes things and makes out there not sin, just part of the modern day pleasures, but trust me, ask anyone that has caught HIV and faces death if sex was still worth it after all, ask someone who has overdosed and nearly died if starting to take drugs in the first place was worth it.

Organisers of an anti-violent crime conference being held in Brixton on Saturday have welcomed the Archbishop of York’s comments that the Church of England should be reaching out to young people in knife crime.

During his address to the Church of England's General Synod the Archbishop referred to his conversations with a former gang member from Birmingham life had been transformed through the Christian message: "He said to me: 'what you must do is to get us, young people, to feel better about ourselves. Help us to achieve confidence about ourselves without needing the dangerous prop of a knife. Help us not to judge ourselves in the eyes of others. Stop viewing us through the eyes of failure. Help us to overcome self-loathing. Your job is to stop the merry-go-round of our culture of immediacy by providing us with hope and long-term solutions to our longing for belonging. Bible saves stabbing victim

A teenager escaped serious injury when knife-wielding yobs stabbed a BIBLE in his pocket.

 

The teenager regularly attends a Christian youth group held at Emmanuel Christian Centre in Walthamstow, London.

 

And pastor Dez Brown from the church believes God spared the boy, who he has asked us not to name, from further injury.

 

He told New Life, ‘There had been a bit of trouble between some gangs, and they were going for revenge for him for another attack.

 

‘As the attacker went for him, he stabbed the Bible instead of the young lad.

 

‘The boy comes to the youth group every week. I asked him to give his testimony at the youth group but he was a little shy. It’s quite a remarkable story.’

 

PAIN

 

Mr Brown, who himself served a prison sentence as a 17-year-old for stabbing someone to death, knows all about the dangers of knife crime.

 

He said the attack on the teenager was part of a craze known as ‘jucking’, where attackers stab their victims but don’t mean to inflict serious injury.

 

Instead, they pierce the skin of their victim, hoping to cause minor pain, which will result in a few stitches.

 

Other members of Emmanuel Christian Centre have experienced similar incidents, Mr Brown said.

 

Earlier this year, a member of the congregation was raped and attacked by a gang, before having acid thrown over her body in an effort to destroy DNA evidence.

 

Despite the dangers, however, Mr Brown admits he enjoys pastoring in London. He believes that no situations are impossible for God to impact.

 

He added, ‘Because of my own experience and past, I am not fazed by such trouble. I know that God can reach in and touch lives, just like he changed my own life.’

 

The church has started regular work in schools and with the police to combat problems within their community. Their Spark2Life project has earned them several awards.

 

Senior pastor Doug Williams said counselling the victims was ‘heartbreaking’.

 

‘The only answer I have in the face of such things is that I still believe in the power of the Gospel. I believe the Gospel has the power to change a heart.’

Today’s statistics on knife crime is depressing. It is reckoned that there are over 16,000 stabbings in London every year and over 38 stab wounds are treated in the hospitals every 24 hours! Even teachers in school are at risk and many schools have metal detectors put in. The problem of Knife Crime is not limited to London alone; there was one report recently of fatality caused by knife crime in Whiting, and 6 in Glasgow (Scotland).

Now back to the questions posed by me above. Here are some possible answers:

Why are our young ones dying daily from knife crime?

There are many knife crimes are drug-related. Many of our teenagers are involved in selling and taking drugs. They sometimes double cross one another, they sometimes leak secrets and hence they are” snuffed” out.

There is an upsurge in the gang culture and we have teenagers or youths from opposing gangs stabbing one another when they clash or in retaliation to what have you.

There are many innocent well brought up children who would refuse to join gangs, or drug cartels and they are” punished” for refusing to belong in.

There are other innocent ones who simply fall prey to these evil knife carriers e.g. a daughter of one church member I happen to know was killed two years ago because she was “a snob” and the boys could not “stand her attitude”. Believe you me this is true and there was nothing else to the story, for my daughter was attacked on a bus ride home from college once by four boys from her school. Her crime? She behaves in a “mightier than thou” attitude and was snobbish. Thank God for her life that there were no knives involved and thank God that her friend was able to dial 999 and call the police quick. I could not even prosecute these boys for fear of reprisals and just encouraged my daughter to let things lie and let God punish the boys. Thank God after a few days she summoned up courage to return to school and completed her “A” levels successfully.

Lastly there are many innocent teenagers who fall prey for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some of these fall prey due to mistaken identity.

Who are the perpetrators of these acts of violence?

Gang members, drug pushers, sadists, vengeful teenagers (on perceived wrongs against them),untrained children, bored and idle teenagers who soon fall into mischief, psychotic youths, etc.

Why do our teenagers feel they need to carry knives?

Many of these youths carry knives with intent to maim and kill. Some do this to protect themselves (so they say), some have even resorted to carrying sharp pointed umbrellas to cause injury or “protect” themselves. Some believe they have to copy members of their gang or circle of friends by carrying knives.

Conclusion, whether it's just gangs protecting their patch, or drugs involved or video games or films, or protection, whatever the motive, excuse, our yoth are dying at an alarming rate, something of course satan welcomes.
We need to return to God, means educating the youth the was it used to be done, not taking God out of school because might upset the muslims who now are growing in number and are born in the UK and have a right to be here and the gays and athiests and the, oh the list in endless.
We see the result of all that and give me back the decades ago when more under God and less under all the others any day. If this is satan's so called free from God society for you, do your own thing, be your own God for you, then forget it, give me back a world under God's own values any day of the week.

As church attentance falls, and many close, and as most churches fail to wake up and act and do anything about todays society we are setting ourselves up for, well, what words can I find, nothing can describe the pain, heartfelt, all of it, of the families, the mother of a stabbed to death or shot to death victim.
It is predicted in the last days for hearts to grow cold and good to be called evil and evil to be called good.
We think, no way, won't happen, don't be daft. But then we sit and look at the daily news on TV and in our newspapers and we wonder, wow, as usual the Bible is right.
How, because lawlessness abounds the love of many grows cold (Matthew 24:12).

In other words we watch Violent films where we start to hardly feel much emotion, serious test yourself next tmie you watch it, oh sure you have some heart for the lead characters, it's only a film after all. But you care little for the ones at the start of the film who you were not introduced to, did not get to know and got their heads blasted off.
In fact before you say, oh just a film, nearly every day in Iraq or some other country people are blown to bits, shot, raped, killed, butchered to death. But hey we don't care so long as it does not happen to us and because it's now happening all the time, well I'm used to it, used to it, used, WOW, hold on, what did the above verse in Matthew 24:12 say, in fact another better translation would be:
Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. NASV.

It's easy as Christians to say well because these are the last days then, no point in trying to fight God's words, it must come to pass, maybe, sure, can't stop the hurricane approaching, but you sure can save people from it's impact, Amen. You can warn them, take measures yourself, keep watch, stay alert, do what I'm doing now.
One writes, he's a nutter, another a fanatic, more a cult, but if thousands, hundreds of thousands, meaning the Church of England said lets take time out on the women Bishops and gays for moment, we have to reach out to our youth, because they are our next generation, their dying, daily.
Yes, it's time to make a stand, spread the word, act, speak out, do something, any thing, because when you die, when it comes your time to account for your life, what you gonna tell God, sorry I just didn't have the heart.
