Are you a
good person?
You may be
thinking "Yes I'm a good person.
I've never
killed anybody, or anything like that.
I even go
to church sometimes, like baptism,
and give to charity sometimes as well."
When you
die do you think you will go to heaven?
If you
answered yes as nearly all people certainly don't want to go to hell,
we hate suffering, right.
Okay let's see then, according to the Ten Commandments which let's face
it, our nation the UK,
and
certainly the USA was founded upon.
Have you
ever told a lie?
No
seriously, come on, be honest, after all, in this case I actually
can't hear
you, only you and God can, right, in your mind.
Have you
said yes, are you being honest now? (laughs).
Okay, good,
next question then.
Have you
ever stolen anything?
Come, come,
you have admitted to telling lies, if only one lie,
the
commandment is broken, be honest for once.
See, well,
so have I, you're no different from me, or her or him, so on.
No matter
how small it was right, you took something, hey, if only paper, a pen
from your place of work,
even that
is deemed stealing in God's eyes. Yeah honest, anything that is not
yours and you took it without asking.
Okay, final
question then, hmm, let's see, have you ever looked at someone
lustfully, because Jesus says,
if you so
much as look at someone lustfully you have already commited adultery in
your heart.
WOW, I
know, so let's see then:-
You have
lied, stolen and committed adultery, or least broken one of these or
any of the other seven commandments of God right?
So
according to God's law:-
if God
judges you by this standard on the day of judgment, are you going to be
innocent or guilty?
If you
answered correctly as it is obviously guilty, like I said early on, I
am the same, I'm guilty as well, no different from you at all.
Do you
think you’ll go to heaven or hell?
If you
answered heaven, that's interesting, very, hmm!
Why do
you feel like that?
Is it
because you think God is good and he’ll overlook your sins?
If again
you answer yeah, most interesting:-
Okay let's try that in a court of law.
You’ve committed rape, murder, drug pushing—very serious crimes.
The judge
says, ‘You’re guilty. All the evidence is here. Have you anything to
say before I pass sentence?’
And you
say, ‘Yes, Judge. I’d like to say I believe you’re a good man and
you’ll overlook my crimes.’ The
judge
would probably say, ‘You’re right about one thing. I am a good man, and
because of my goodness,
I’m going
to see that justice is done. Because of my goodness, I’m going to see
that you’re punished.’ ”
And the
very thing sinners are hoping will save them on the day of judgment,
the goodness of God, will be
the very
thing that will condemn them.
Because if
God is good, He must by nature punish murderers, rapists, thieves,
liars, fornicators, and
blasphemers.
God is going to punish sin wherever it’s found.
So now my
friend, now you are grasping it, now you are beginning to understand
the
lie taught for years
about doing
good gets you into heaven, this is simply not true, the Bible makes
that very clear.
BUT HANG
ON, don't start all getting upset and worried just yet, what's this I
see before me:-
Wow, you
are free to go, somebody just paid the penalty for you, yes, I know,
awesome eh, they just
walked into
the court room, said 'Hold on stop.' Then they told the judge that
although justice had to be
fulfilled,
in other words carried out, they would like to step in the place of you.
WOW, NOW
how do you feel, do you deserve this, probably not, but imagine, you
don't have to go to
prison
(hell).
I think you
are beginning to see the point:-
I have good
news for you!
When there
was nothing you could do to come to God, He instead came to you. In
fact, God
loves you so much that, even while you are a sinner, Jesus Christ died
upon a
cruel and bloody cross for you. He did not die to make you happy, but
He died
that so
when you stand before the Lord, you can stand there in confidence and
assurance,
clothed in His righteousness. It’s as simple as this: you have broken
God’s law,
but He has paid your debt through Jesus’ death on the cross.
This is
actually in the Bible, which by the way is 100% accurate and predicting
the many things
that you
see happening today in the world.
“For God
so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth
in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
His
Son into
the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be
saved.”
(John 3:16-17)
Do you
remember Adam and Eve, God still loved them:-
Genesis
3:21 Yahweh God made coats of skins for Adam and for his
wife, and clothed them.
Awwwww,
wow, he made them clothes, I take this to mean a loving God, but,
because He is, unlike us genuine, and honest to His word, after all who
wants to serve a God that isn't, right?
Genesis
2:16 Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree
of the garden you may freely eat;
17
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of
it; for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die."
Then God
must keep to His word.
:23
Therefore Yahweh God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till
the ground from which he was taken.
But God
already had a plan, to one day come Himself, when the time was deemed
just right, according to God:-
Genesis
3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and
between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and
you will bruise his heel."
What did
Jesus say, who has been shown to have lived by historical fact and
recorded in four gospels and later of course more letters written by St
Peter, James, St Paul, so on, what did Jesus say to a Pharisee named
Nicodemus:-

Jesus answered him, "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born
anew,{The word translated "anew" here and in John 43

Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he
enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"

Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water
and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the
Spirit is spirit.
BUT because
this is a major step, unless you are already convicted from the above,
God bless you, I suggest you take your time and explore the greatest
gift you are ever likely to be given, ever, honest, and I pray that one
day, soon you'll realize that, because if I did not care, I'd have not
given you this gift, hmm, bit like fore seeing an accident that you'll
be involved in and killed, and not telling you, warning you.
Remember
I've
been where you are now, all I'm trying to do is help you, like someone
once helped me, to share in God's awesome plan.
NO, not
religion,
that's man made nonsense, it's faith.
After all
if I
just said and did nothing and you went to hell, wouldn't you be
furious, baying for my blood, not that you could then do anything about
it then.
I tell you the
truth, if you doubt it, just research for yourself.
Finally,
you have
discovered that you are now a sinner, like me, and that no good works
can save you, gain you eternal life, a place in heaven, only accepting
Jesus will, and can do that.

before coming to Him.
