We all know somebody that has
had cancer, maybe a friend, relative, or maybe even yourself. How did
we get this cancer and even more importantly than that, how do you get
rid of it without the usual chemotherapy way that not only distroys the
bad cells but also the good and leaves you feeling terrible.

I was told I had cancer of the throat in February 1999. I was told that
I
had this for some time. Because I was told that it was 3" in diameter.
The
cancer had closed off my breathing. They put a trach in my throat so I
could
breath, and a tube in my stomach so I could eat. I thought I was gonna
die.
I was so afraid. I was so worried about my family. How they would be
taken
care of.
At this time I didn't go to church. I did believe in God and Jesus, But
I
didn't live like I really should (meaning I was not a real Christian).
When I was in the hospital they put me on chemotherapy hoping to get
the
cancer to stop growing. After I had my first chemotherapy. I got to
come
home for three weeks and then I was to take another treatment.
During this time at home while I was praying I felt that God had healed
me.
When I took my third treatment I had told the doctor I have been healed
by
God of my cancer ... but I still took the treatment even though I knew
I
didn't have cancer anymore.
After my treatment was over they did a biopsy to see if any cancer was
showing.
Guess what they came back no cancer showing at all. The doctor told me
that
the treatments would not make the cancer go away but it would just help
where
I could go through radiation too and maybe not have to have surgery.
But
when they seen no cancer on the biopsy test, they were surprised there
was
no sign of cancer. But I told them I knew they would not find any
cancer
because God healed me.

My name is Judy Houck, I would like to take a few minutes to briefly
tell
you how the Lord has healed me of cancer. One night in 1984, my
husband,
John, and I had returned home from a Gospel singing. Later that
same
night I discovered a lump in my breast, I was overcome with fear.
When
a woman finds a lump in her breast the devil will make her
fearful.
When the fear tried to take me over, I said, "Devil get behind me in
Jesus
name". I showed what I had found to my husband John and he
never
said a word. He just looked at me. I knew what it was, but I did
not
name it. You know many times we name things too often, and when you
name
it, it gets worse. At first I refused to go to the Doctor.
The nurse that checked my blood count that day could not believe my
count
was up, and I said," Praise the Lord". I told the nurse that I would
not
be back, God has healed me. The nurse started crying when I said I
don't
have to take chemotherapy anymore, God has told me not to.

Following the death of my father from cancer, I discovered the growth
of
cancer on my scalp just above my hairline. It was diagnosed as a
fast
growing, virulent skin cancer and surgery was scheduled to have it
removed.
I didn’t want it to advance to other parts of my body. I was very
concerned
about it. It had turned black and because of its location, I was
no
longer able to comb my hair or go to the barber.
I was prayed for at my church and I felt the Lord’s presence and peace
while the congregation prayed.
Tim instructed me not to keep looking at or feeling the tumor.
But
rather, just to keep praising God for my healing—this is using your
shield
of faith.
I didn’t ‘feel’ anything happen at the time. His wife gave me a
tape
and Tim’s book “Walking In Faith.” I went home and read the book and
began
listening to the tape—"Receive Your Healing Now!"—it was full of
scriptures
pertaining to healing.
About three days later while washing my hair in the shower I felt
something
in my hand. It was a hunk of the tumor. I looked in the
mirror
and about 2/3 of the tumor was gone!

I
had melanoma, an aggressive
form
of cancer that starts from a mole or pigmented area. The only hope was
to
operate and cut out the tumors. I dreaded this surgery and expected it
to
be disfiguring. Then surgery had to be put on hold because my
pre-operative
blood tests showed that I had something wrong in my liver.
"After running more tests, the doctor said, ‘Jerry, I have good news
and
bad news. The good news is that you do not have to have the surgery.
The
bad news is that surgery would be a waste of your time. You have cancer
of
the liver so advanced that you will most likely be dead in less than a
month.
You need to get your affairs in order. There is nothing medically that
can
be done.’
"I felt stunned. I became hot all over and my hair stood up on end. My
first
reaction was for my wife - I had been married just 4 years and I loved
her
so much. I worried about what would happen to her, and hurt so badly
for
her that it took me a long time to tell her about it all.
"I told her, and the next week, I went to church and asked the church
elders
to anoint me with oil and pray for me; this is what the Bible says to
do
in the book of James. After they prayed, I trusted my situation to
Jesus,
and resolved not to worry.
"A few days later, I noticed that the melanomas had started going away.
However,
the symptoms I had from liver cancer intensified. Not only did the pain
get
worse, but also I lost a lot of weight. In addition, I was very weak,
and
it was hard to keep up my furniture repair business. Day by day, I
seemed
to be getting worse.
"One day as I was reading the Bible, I spoke to the Lord and said,
‘Lord,
I committed my life to you. I had the elders pray for me as you
commanded.
Are you going to heal me? God answered me in a surprising way. He said,
‘I
have already healed you. Read, believe and confess Psalm 103, vs 2.

"The surgery was stopped when the pathologist found Anaplastic
cancer
(an inoperative type). It was reported as one of the most rare and most
aggressive
types of cancer known. It was so aggressive that it could be seen
growing
by the naked eye.
"On Wednesday, November 18, 1998 Shawn, Tammy, Henry and Hannah came to
the hospital.
"There was a time when everyone left Shawn and me alone. He and his
family
attend Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma; it is pastored by
Billy
Joe and Sharon Daughtery. Because of the excellent teachings they have
received,
Shawn had determined from the beginning that this sickness should not
be.
He was confident that it was an attack from the enemy. His knowledge of
faith
and the promises of God brought his faith beyond hope to confidence.
"As he sat by my bed I asked him to pray for me. He began to speak in
divine
anointing, standing against the attack and for the truth he knew. I
didn't
feel any great surge of healing power. I just felt happiness and
gratitude
that my son knew how to pray the prayer of faith.
"I believe it was later the same day that my mother-in-law, Mary,
who
was sitting in a chair facing me asked, "Am I the only one that saw
that?"
She had seen a swelling disappear before her eyes.
"God had instantly and miraculously healed this terrible disease. I
would live!
"I made a commitment to God; as long as I lived that I would tell
people
about Jesus, of His salvation, His love and His healing power."
