Movies
with a message, have you seen any yet, whether on UCB or TBN, you'll
notice most are by the Christiano Brothers films,
at christian films dot com, etc.
One of my favorites is Late One
Night
Three factory
workers make their routine stop at a diner late one night. Just before
closing, a man comes in and takes a seat at the counter. One of the
workers, an antagonist named Larry, tries to strike up a conversation
with the man but he doesn't respond. Disturbed by this, Larry persists
and finds out the man is a Christian. What follows is an intense drama
about the most important issue in life...and eternity.
It might be only just over 30 minutes long but packs a powerful though
provoking point as Brad Heller's fine performance proves that Christian
films don't have to be all sweet sugar and spice.
So if you want to spice up your life with Christian films for a change
with often powerful messages then you can buy them, whether on video or
dvd, see below.
But I can't go without mentioning also another favorite as it makes me
laugh quite a bit, not sure if it was meant to be funny, but sure
tickles me:-
The
Daylight Zone
Released in
1986 by Christiano Brothers Films
The first film from the Christiano Brothers is a unique twist on the
old TV series "Twilight Zone". Carl Smith stops off at a hot dog stand
and argues his case with three Christians that Jesus Christ didn't
exist. As Carl begins his drive home, he is forced to take a detour
along some old country roads...and unknown to him, has just entered
into...the Daylight Zone.
