See the thing is when we play God, it has major consequences, please allow me to explain why first:-

The decision is usually made on the grounds of the quality of life the child may enjoy or be condemned to endure. But tragically, it seems to me, we are on shaky ground when we try to decide the issue by the quality of life the child, if allowed to live, will enjoy ... tragically, I say, because the decision can be heart-rending. But I seriously question whether we have the means to determine at what point a life falls below a permissible level of "quality" and when it rises above it. John Stott cites a discussion between two doctors. Said one, "About the termination of a pregnancy, I want your opinion. The father was syphilitic, the mother tuberculous. Of the four children born, the first was blind, the second died, the third was deaf and dumb, and the fourth was also tuberculous. What would you have done?" The reply was given quite unhesitatingly: "I'd have terminated the pregnancy." "Then," said the other, "you'd have murdered Beethoven."

Actually the one I heard went like this:-
" A professor in a college ethics class presented his students with a problem. He said, " A man has syphilis and his wife has tuberculosis. They have had four children: one has dies, the other three have what is considered to be a terminal illness. The mother is pregnant. What do you recommend?" But the point is, you have to admit it makes more than a compelling case, I mean, who on earth has that right, you know, to take a life, the Bible seems to make it clear that it is murder, that God holds it in high regard.
Sure you can be forgiven for past mistakes, repent and march on, but once you know, now you know, now I've told you, if you still go ahead, and don't repent, one day you'll have to face God.
In fact the times I've heard, whether on TV or whatever, that women later come to seriously regret having an abortion, mental scars are more than apparent.
Because, who knows what God had intended for that child to grow up into.
Hmm, had Mary been able to have an abortion, yikes, no Jesus, no saviour, forget your sins being forgiven then, oh well, all going to hell, ouch.
What about Moses, in fact anyone, you, your dad, mother, grandfather, take one out of the chain and bang.
No good saying you don't care, hate my dad, mother, etc.
What about, oh you know, anyone, if a mother of Sir Alan Sugar, or Richard Branson, and so it goes on, forget Virgin, forget Amstrad computers.
Sure, others might well have filled their shoes, but you get the picture.

Hmm, yet you still want proof, if you search this site, you'll soon see and discover as I did, the hard way often, that there is a God, that the Bible is 100% accurate in all the predictions to date and therefore we must look at HIS, not mine, His words, okay:-

Exodus 21:22  If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

Psalms 127:3  Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Psalms 139:13  For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14  I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15  My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Jeremiah 1:5  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
 
So as you as you can clearly see, to God it is very important.
At one time I didn't care, well, not that I did not care, never really dwelt on it, not give it much thought, but then one day, March 2003, waking up, then watching the likes of Revelation TV, all was revealed and suddenly it was like, wow, if God cares, if it matters to Him, wow, it must matter to me, I must tell the truth to young women, being misled, and pushed by people, even doctors, and boyfriends, and so on, not being offered and told all the option, adoption for one, etc.
Praise God Moses was adopted as such, not aborted, or killed.
Look at the lengths, in Jesus case, that God went to also to protect Him.

So we can clearly see, clearly, that life is precious to God.
Recent scientific, which will come as no surprise to some and of course God, shows the baby now, thanks to modern technology developes far younger than first thought. This must mean it feels pain. Imagine, you, does anyone, parents or not, no matter what your life is like now, (meaing awful) have the right to have taken your life before you had the chance to have proven yourself.
Hmm, hey, that's a bit like saying to a world cup qualifying team, 'Look, come, come Austrailia you have about as much chance of winning the sucn and such than winning the world cup, so we have all decided to not allow you to enter, waste of space, we have narrowed it down to England and Brazil and few other nations, mainly from Europe, thanks for your time, earlier participation, BYE now.'

Does not everyone deserve a right to prove themselves, and in this case a right to life, to be given that chance. Far far better to give the child away than to take it's life, to allow the doctors to, ohh, hmm, those pictures, horrible, make, even me sick, just, awful, how could they, not saying that's the case in every case, but, oh no, sick, no, no, no......

WARNING they are shocking, graphic images indeed, but you need to get the message, heck we all do, am I perfect, NO way, none of us are, why Jesus came.
